Here we are, roughly 2 weeks after the initial launch of ExpressionEngine version 7, and today we’re happy to announce the release of ExpressionEngine 7.1
Why 7.1?
When we released ExpressionEngine 7.0 we had planned to include Structure in the core right out of the gate. Just before release, we concluded it wasn’t ready JUST yet, so we decided to err on the side of giving it a bit more time and attention to be sure it was in good shape.
Today we’re happy to share that the Structure integration into the core of ExpressionEngine is ready to go!
Beyond Structure being integrated, version 7 has turned into a fairly large release. Check out the changelog for all the goodies!
What is Structure?
Structure has long been considered by many to be the premier navigation manager in ExpressionEngine. Structure lets you create pages, generate navigation, and manage content through a simple hierarchical (Sitemap) interface.
Today we’re excited to share that Structure is now shipping as part of the ExpressionEngine core.
