ExpressionEngine 6.3 has landed! Version 6.3 brings with it a major upgrade to fields in ExpressionEngine. These upgrades fall into two major categories, both of which are part of ExpressionEngine Core (not Pro).
- Conditional Fields
- New Fieldtypes
Conditional Fields:
Conditional fields enable you to deliver clients with first-class content administration, allowing you to show and hide fields based on the input of a given entry.
Simply put, it’s a more effective way to ensure content integrity as well as a better content admin experience. To learn more about conditional fields check out our blog post here or see it in action.
New Fieldtypes
ExpressionEngine 6.3.0 also ships with 5 new fieldtypes, to help you better meet your client’s needs.
